The Rumen Nation team is founded on the experience of 3 generations of Hornbuckles in the Intensive Livestock Production industry. ​
​
Veterinary Doctor Harry Hornbuckle began consulting to the beef & pork industries in the 1960s before establishing his own beef feedlot in the 1970s at Yengarie, near Maryborough, QLD.
​He is succeeded by his son, John, and grandson, Joshua, who heads the Rumen Nation stockyard design team. Our practical, hands-on approach, combined with leading-edge modern CAD technology, is allowing us to build state-of-the-art cattle and sheep yards.
