"It’s gotta look good from the chopper" was a key part of the initial brief from this great client, and we believe this design delivers on that and much more.

This yard features a 6-way drafting pound capable of drafting up to 350 head, controlled from a central "crows nest." It also offers 3-way drafting for up to 350 head after the crush, ensuring versatile and efficient cattle handling.

The drafting pound, adult and calf races, and working area are all covered by a simple, integrated gable roof. RHS rafters rest directly atop the cattle yard posts, creating a roof structure that’s easy to construct and doesn’t interrupt cattle flow in adjoining pens.

Options like "Diamond" pens enable smooth movement of cattle between pens without double handling, adding to the yard’s practicality and efficiency.
